Our Story

The sausage that started it all

As a former East London Master Butcher, our father worked his way up from the age of 13 as a butcher boy learning the skills of fresh meat preparation, sausage making, cooked meats, and making pies. He was quickly running one of the largest butcher shops in England, Farmers Meat Stores. One of the oldest recipes he worked on was the Traditional Gourmet Banger, a now more than 100-year-old recipe. 

But always thinking of what could have been and missing the taste of home, he began his journey of recreating the Traditional and Classic Gourmet Banger. He had held on to the more than 100 year old recipe from my mentor back in England. This journey started in his very own kitchen here in Las Vegas more than 30 years ago. He went to a local butcher shop to get the natural casings and meats that knew to be right, getting all the spices from the local food markets, carefully mixing and making what he knew to be a high quality traditional banger. Crafting this piece of home here in America he knew this was his family heirloom that would forever carry our fathers story and where he came from. Love was shown through our fathers craft and the many people who wanted more of his bangers. 30 years later we are still confident in our product by staying loyal to our traditional recipe and we believe you will taste the difference.

Our journey of wholesale meats began in 2021, when we took over our father’s company of thirty-one years selling our family’s sausage. Throughout 2022, we really took off and our passion for the wholesale industry grew and we became nationally certified, Women Owned with Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). We knew we wanted to expand and introduce more products to our customers and house only the best selection of foods, elite foods. From this bloomed, Elite Women Foods. It is our mission to personally select and source our product line.

Stephanie and Christina are the face and drive of the business since taking over. Our father Nick Jones is always involved in business meetings and discussions for the products. He oversees mostly the sausages making sure all vendors, US Foods and Sysco Foods are receiving their product alongside Christina. With expanding the business to provide more products both Christina and Stephanie are working on creating relationships with local chefs in Las Vegas. We currently have sausages, fish and other meats sold in the MGM International Employee Dining.
